The Hair Thickening Shampoo is an advanced, biologically active formulation designed to address key mechanisms involved in hair thinning, reduced density, and compromised scalp condition. At the centre of the formulation is Baicapil™, a clinically studied botanical complex recognised for its ability to support hair growth, increase density, and reduce excessive shedding. By promoting follicular activity and prolonging the anagen (growth) phase, it contributes to visibly fuller, thicker hair.

This effect is enhanced by Kerascalp™, derived from Emblica officinalis (amla fruit), which acts at the follicular level to support hair fibre thickness, improve overall hair count, and counteract processes associated with hair ageing, including weakening and depigmentation. Its role in supporting collagen XVII expression further contributes to improved follicular anchoring and hair integrity.

A glycerin-based extract of horsetail (Equisetum arvense), naturally rich in bioavailable silica, supports keratin structure and enhances tensile strength, improving resilience and reducing susceptibility to mechanical damage.

The formulation is complemented by Hydrafeel® (Pantotrofin 3), an advanced form of panthenol that enhances hydration within both the hair shaft and scalp. Its film-forming properties help protect the hair fibre from thermal and environmental stressors, including colour degradation, while improving smoothness, softness, and manageability.

Baicapil™ (2%)
A clinically studied, multi-component botanical complex comprising Scutellaria baicalensis root extract, combined with soybean and wheat sprout extracts. At a 2% concentration, Baicapil™ has demonstrated efficacy in supporting hair growth and increasing density through targeted modulation of the hair growth cycle.

Scutellaria baicalensis is a rich source of baicalin, a flavonoid with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to protect the follicular unit from oxidative stress and micro-inflammation—both key contributors to follicular regression and hair thinning.

Soybean and wheat sprout extracts provide a complementary profile of bioactive peptides, lipids, and micronutrients that support hair fibre strength, improve volume, and enhance overall hair quality. Collectively, this complex promotes follicular activation, prolongs the anagen (growth) phase, and contributes to visibly thicker, denser hair while reducing excessive shedding.

Kerascalp™
A bioactive ingredient derived from Emblica officinalis (amla fruit), valued for its high antioxidant capacity and regenerative properties. Kerascalp™ acts at the follicular level to counteract key processes associated with hair ageing, including follicle miniaturisation, weakening, and depigmentation.

Mechanistically, it supports the expression of collagen XVII, a critical structural protein involved in maintaining follicular integrity and anchoring. Clinical data indicate improvements in hair count and fibre thickness with continued use, alongside a visible reduction in the progression of greying.

Hydrafeel® (Pantotrofin 3)
An advanced form of panthenol (provitamin B5) with enhanced hygroscopic and film-forming properties. Hydrafeel® improves water retention within both the hair shaft and scalp, restoring optimal hydration and elasticity.

It forms a lightweight protective barrier over the hair fibre, helping to reduce moisture loss, protect against thermal and environmental stressors, and maintain colour stability in treated hair.
