Main ingredients:
- Collagen – Native Collagen formula combines high-molecular-weight collagen with low-molecular-weight collagen
- Sodium alginate (SA) – is a product extracted from kelp or sargassum of brown algae. SA is a natural polysaccharide with eximious properties such as biosafety, biocompatibility, and renewability, applied in various fields. SA has many uses in medicine, including as an antacid, in wound dressings, and in drug delivery systems. SA is used in wound dressings to treat acute and chronic wounds. SA dressings can help with collagen synthesis and remodeling, and can promote re-epithelization. SA can benefit the skin by hydrating (reduces the appearance of fine lines), smoothing (calms the skin), and softening it (leaves skin feeling silky and rich). SA’s water-binding properties help retain moisture in the skin. It strengthens collagen fibers, which can lift the skin. It’s suitable for all skin types, including dry, combination, oily, or sensitive skin. It’s non-toxic and hypoallergenic, reducing the risk of irritation and allergic reactions. Reduces bacterial infections and has antimicrobial properties. Skin care products use it as an emulsion stabilizer.
Safety profile. SA is a safe ingredient as it is derived from natural sources and has a long history of use in the skin care industry. It is generally well-tolerated by the skin and is non-comedogenic, so it does not block pores or cause acne. Algin is also vegan and halal. A patch test is not typically required but it is always safer, especially in case of sensitive skin.
- Benzyl glycol (BG) – Benzyl glycol is found naturally in some fruits, such as peaches, apricots, and cranberries, as well as teas. An alcohol derived from a fatty acid caprylyl glycol offers both humectant benefits (drawing moisture to the skin) and preservative-like properties in skin care products. Hydrates skin: attracts and retains water to improve skin texture and feel. Works with other humectants: Enhances moisturizing effects when used with glycerin or hyaluronic acid. It is a safer option than traditional preservatives, such as parabens or those that release formaldehyde, caprylyl glycol is derived from the natural fatty acid found in palm and coconut oils. It also helps increase the antimicrobial activity of other preservatives.
- Ethylhexylglycerin – is a chemical compound produced from plant sources of glycerin, typically coconut. Used as a skin-softening agent, preservative, and humectant in skin care products. Skin conditioning: Helps condition skin, improves hydration without leaving it feeling sticky, has skin-revitalizing properties. Ethylhexylglycerin helps to purify the skin – it helps to keep skin free of organisms that might harm it. It’s vegan and halal.
Safety profile. It’s not linked to harmful effects on reproductive health or hormone disruption. It’s used in many skincare products, including moisturizers, foundations, lipsticks, deodorants, bath products, hair care products, and suntan products. It’s not listed as an ingredient to be avoided by nursing mothers, children, or in baby products.
- Raspberry ketone – is a compound found in red raspberries that may improve skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles. Raspberry ketone may increase skin elasticity by increasing the production of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) in the skin (study). It may reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots. Raspberry ketone’s antioxidant properties may help fight free radicals and improve skin appearance. Has anti-inflammatory properties and may help improve skin biology. Raspberry ketone is used in skincare as a preservative potentiator to protect against spoilage. It also reshapes silhouette and improves skin elasticity, while decreasing skin roughness, edema and skin thickness. It effectively inhibits the formation of melanin, active oxygen, and lipid peroxide. In skin lightening, it scavenges Nitric oxide within skin cells (Nitric oxide causes premature ageing, skin roughness, and hyperpigmentation) effectively inhibiting the formation of melanin. Raspberry Ketone is a good scavenger of Nitric oxide. It improves the overall state of the skin and boosts youthfulness.

- Trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate (EDDS) is a chemical additive used in cosmetics, cleansers, and other products. It’s a chelating agent that binds to metal ions, which helps to prevent contamination and product instability. Prevents metal ions from adhering to skin or hair. Improves skin and hair health. Protects skin and hair from UV radiation. Helps to keep products looking and performing their best.

The Collagen Gel is a new and exciting addition to my skin-care regime. I’m using it as a Serum, an intermediate layer between the Collagen Wash Gel and whatever I’m using as a final moisturizing layer, morning or night-time and from season to season. I adore this product. It settles, soothes and smooths my skin. If you wish to go to the next level with your positive-ageing regime, I recommend the Colvita collagen capsules with Algae and Vitamin E capsules as well.
I’ve been looking for a CLEAN, BIO-AVAILABLE, sustainably-sourced collagen product. Collagen is a super-nutrient that supports the health of all of the tissues of the body in a natural and powerful way. Here’s what I’ve noticed with taking COLVITA collagen… an improvement in the elasticity of the skin on my face, neck and body and the bit of inflammation in my knee-joints seems to have disappeared since I started taking two of these COLVITA collagen capsules with Algae and Vitamin E capsules each day.
I recommend this natural health product as part of a healthy-ageing regime”.

Our clinic has had access to VitaCare’s Native Fish Collagen skin care gel, and other supporting products, for almost a year now and are impressed with the results. We are well aware that collagen molecules cannot penetrate the skin as they are, but this company has that ‘can do’ attitude and have worked out how these can break down into small fragments and peptides, in order to do so. Pawel has been generous with his time and information throughout our clinic’s trialling process, and his passion for his products shines through!

We have found that using the native collagen products is highly effective with healing after a fibroblast treatment. We use it immediately after a treatment and recommend it being used daily as part of the healing.
I have personally used the native collagen on myself after a fibroblast treatment, it tends to heal faster, the area looks less aggressive when healing and the skin looks beautiful when the dots come off. None of my clients have experienced any flaky or dry skin when fully healed from a fibroblast treatment when they have combined the native collagen as part of their aftercare.
I highly recommend the whole range of collagen products. One of my clients said they are the most beautiful things they have ever put on their skin.
